In 2015, Yehoram Gaon won the Doctor of Honor Award from Bar Ilan University.
After winning the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007, from Bar Ilan University, Gaon won the Doctor of Fame Award in 2015 alongside personalities such as President Reuben Ruby Rivlin, Lt. Col. Bnei Gantz.
Gaon won this award for his contribution to Hebrew song and acting. "Hundreds of his songs that became the assets of iron sheep in Hebrew song and the variety of characters that he included in his performances were engraved in the Israeli ethos," the award said.
